Terms and Conditions of Sale
(Official updated version – April 2025)
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all services and sales carried out by the Ruth Niddam Institute Paris, both online and on-site at the establishment.
They aim to ensure a transparent, fair relationship in compliance with current French legislation.
Any purchase or reservation implies the customer’s full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. Preamble
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) apply to all sales of cosmetic products and beauty treatments provided by the Ruth Niddam Institute Paris, located at 10 Avenue Matignon – 75008 Paris, as well as to sales made on the website www.ruthniddam.fr.
Any order, reservation, or purchase, whether online or on-site, implies the customer’s full acceptance of these T&Cs, which are available at any time on the website or at the Institute upon request.
These conditions aim to ensure a transparent, fair relationship in compliance with current French legislation.
Services and Products Offered
Ruth Niddam Paris treatments, packages, and products are described on the website, in the brand’s communication materials, and at the Institute.
The treatments offered are non-medical, non-therapeutic, and intended exclusively for well-being, beauty, and relaxation purposes.
Reservations and Acceptance of the T&Cs
- For any online reservation, the customer must check the box: “I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions of Sale” before completing their order.
- For any on-site reservation or purchase, payment for the treatment or package constitutes full acceptance of these T&Cs.
- The T&Cs are available on the website and can be provided in paper or digital format upon request.
- Proof of acceptance: application logs (reservation confirmation, payment validation, etc.) serve as proof of the customer’s acceptance of the T&Cs.
Packages and Cures
4.1. Nature and Validity
Packages correspond to a commitment over multiple sessions, often with a price advantage or a complimentary session. They are personal, non-transferable, and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
4.2. Payment in Installments (on-site payment at the Institute) When a package is paid in installments:
The customer agrees to respect the agreed payment schedule; any default or late payment makes the full remaining balance immediately due; the Institute reserves the right to suspend sessions in case of non-payment.
4.3. Started Package
Any package that has been started is fully due, even if the customer decides to stop the treatment before completion, except in cases of major justified impediments (serious illness, medically certified contraindication). Sessions not completed under these circumstances are not refundable or transferable beyond the initial validity period.
4.4. Complimentary Session
When a package includes a complimentary session:
it is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for products or other services; it is granted only if the entire package is completed; in case the customer interrupts the package, the complimentary session is automatically canceled.
4.5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, or Absence
The customer must notify at least 72 working hours in advance (by email or SMS) in case of cancellation or rescheduling.
Any late cancellation, unnotified absence, or repeated rescheduling results in the session being considered due.
After two successive reschedulings for the same session, the Institute reserves the right to charge for the service.
Cosmetic Products (Online and In-Store Sales)
5.1. Ordering and Payment
Orders can be placed directly on the website www.ruthniddam.fr or at the Ruth Niddam Institute Paris.
Payment is made via a secure platform (Stripe, or in the Institute by credit card and/or check) or on-site. Any order is considered final upon receipt of full payment.
5.2. Availability and Delivery
Products are offered while stocks last.
Deliveries are made in France and Europe according to the average times indicated on the website (excluding force majeure cases).
5.3. Right of Withdrawal (Distance Sales)
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without penalty or justification.
This right does not apply to:
- opened, used, or damaged products,
- sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
5.4. Returns and Refunds
Returns must be made in their original packaging, complete, and in perfect condition, to the following address: Laboratoire Lysedia, Mr DAVID NOEL, 1-3 Avenue des 3 Peuples, 78180 Montigny Les Bretonneux, France.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be made within 30 days after receipt and validation of the returned product.
5.5. Warranty and Compliance
Products benefit from legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects, in accordance with Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
Delays and Arrival
The customer is invited to arrive 5 minutes before the treatment to fully enjoy the experience. Any delay may result in a reduced treatment time, without a reduction in price.
Liability and Contraindications
The Institute declines any responsibility in case of allergy, medical contraindication, or lack of information on ongoing treatments. Ruth Niddam Paris treatments do not replace medical care.
Personal Data
Collected data is strictly confidential and used only for managing appointments, orders, and communications, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data is shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held responsible for any failure resulting from a force majeure event (epidemic, natural disaster, administrative closure, strike, etc.). If the situation persists beyond 30 days, the parties may terminate or postpone the service by mutual agreement.
Governing Law and Disputes
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing an agreement, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.
