Hydra Skin can be used on all skin types, for both men and women, all year round.

Step 1: Assessing skin quality

This personalized approach is by appointment only, and will enable us to make a proper assessment of your skin’s quality and listen to your needs during an initial consultation.

Step 2: Dermo-cleansing & infusion

In our center, we use two technologies, Hydra-Skin® (a device similar to the Hydrafacial) and Jet Peel® (which won the h.Pierantoni Innovation Award in 2021), two high-performance, complementary devices for correcting skin imperfections (blackheads, microcysts, wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, etc.) without needles or injections.

Step 3: De-clogging and cleaning blackheads

This is an optional step that depends on the condition of your skin. It is often imperative on oily skin with dilated pores. Microcysts are small white balls of sebum under the skin, which form small pimples that cannot be released.

Stage 4: Deep penetration and transdermal diffusion of active ingredients.

Depending on the protocol and/or desired result, different active ingredient formulas are available. These formulas are enriched with nutrients, vitamins and minerals essential to skin elasticity, radiance and beauty.

Precautions to take before applying a Hydra-Skin® treatment. 

Hydra-Skin®  is a “gentle” beauty treatment suitable for all skin types. There are therefore few contraindications. The most general ones concern allergies to glycolic acid, skin irritation and local herpes-type infections. Similarly, as a precautionary measure, we do not treat pregnant or breast-feeding women.

More specifically in the case of acne, we will not treat people suffering from inflammatory acne. The same applies if you are on Roaccutane® treatment, as your skin is too fragile. On the other hand, it’s a suitable treatment for acne wherever it occurs, on the face or back.

Acne-prone skin is skin that is prone to developing blackheads and pimples. It is often oily and shiny. This is because the sebaceous glands produce more sebum than in other skin types.

After examining your skin, the Hydra-Skin® skincare protocol is tailored to target your acne and the way it manifests itself.

Precautions to take after a Hydra-Skin® treatment

After the Hydra-Skin® session, you should apply a sunscreen if you are going to be exposed to the sun. Beauty products adapted to your skin type will be recommended to prolong the effects of the treatment.
