Microneedling

Today, there are many aesthetic treatments available to treat wrinkled skin. Recently, a new technique has appeared on the scene: microneedling.
This non-invasive treatment is effective in treating skin aging, densifying the skin and thus slowing down the effects of aging.
It stimulates each layer of the skin and improves its quality.
Microneedling can also be used to correct certain skin imperfections such as dilated pores or stretch marks.
It’s an electric pen with a single-use nozzle with micro-needles and integrated syringe.

Microneedling is therefore an excellent technique for preventing or correcting the effects of aging on the skin. For optimum results, it can be combined with a peel or radiofrequency treatment, with or without LED light to enhance the effects.

The area to be treated is determined. The choice of needles (diameter) and the depth of perforation depend on the area to be treated, the type of skin and the desired effect.

1. On cleansed and disinfected skin, several passes are made over the area at different depths, simultaneously combining the active ingredients to reach all layers of the dermis. These micro-perforations will induce a healing process, leading to cell renewal and the production of elastin and collagen.

2. The skin is pinkish and small amounts of bleeding may be observed if deep treatment has been chosen. This treatment can be sensitive but not really painful. A microneedling session lasts 30 min and we recommend 4 to 5 sessions, one every 15 days (from €200 to €300 each). After the session, we recommend applying RUTH NIDDAM – PARIS products (rich in anti-aging, regenerating and anti-stretch-mark active ingredients), as this technique encourages their penetration.

Contraindications are limited, but include the following: Active acne, especially inflammatory lesions.

Active herpes labialis or other localized infections in the treatment area, including warts. Moderate to severe chronic skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis.
